Testudini

Testudini is a very old tortoise who regents a large army of beastmen. They roam the Dron in a walking fort called The moving fortress that has tortoise legs stretching out of a mass of hills and trees that Testudini has turned into a natural fortress.

He usually presents himself with his elite guard, who carry him on a wooden shield. Presenting demands to crowns or negotiating for the preservation of the natural wealth of the hull.

Testudini refers to himself as "the commander". But who is the general of his forces, no one knows.

The moving fortress

His home and signature, the moving fortress, travels where Testudini goes. It is manned by many creatures, beastmen mostly, that swarm its branches and come in and out of its burrowing tunnels. Not many have been into the fortress but it is rumored to contain very potent primal magic as its engine.

At the core of the moving fortress there is an underground lagoon that contains a very old Aboleth. A fish of a race so old, it is said to be older than the gods themselves. Testudini holds court with this being and orders the army about at its command. The final goals of the aboleth cannot be known, but it has lived as a secret from outsiders and its control on Testudini becomes stronger year by year.
