I be the warden, here at Dimina's garden.
~ Dimina.
Dimina's seaweed garden
As the debris of boats diminishes, it gives way to a kelp forest, the seaweed spears up into the darkness and sways in the air as if it was under water. The kelp forest is completely overtaken by a small army of scorpion crabs, who harvest and eat the kelp spears keeping its prodigious growth rate in check.
When the PCs arrive to the garden they see Dimina tending the salt water pools, talking playfully to her pet scorpion-crabs. At first glance she seems like a beautiful sea-elf with bright yellow hair and shinny celestial blue skin. When she opens her mouth however, a litany of curses and foul pirate language spews out.
Her garden is alien to most, being made of sea-slugs, small scorpion crabs and salty ponds with colorful bio-luminescent fish. Towers of coral, like trees, stand out of the pools glowing red, green and blue. Seaweed of different textures and colors can be seen speckled across the dark landscape.
Behind the garden there is a giant seashell which is home to a giant sea slug, Dimina lives on the hollowed-out upper part of the shell.
Dimina is not at all what she seems, she is secretly a sea-hag called Harroette The Terrible in disguise.
There was once a true Dimina, an elf druid who cultivated the garden, and cared for those unfortunate souls who were collected by Remeteraak. But Harrowette killed her and put her body in one of the shallow pools in the garden to be eaten by the crabs. The bones and restless soul of the true Dimina still haunt the garden.
The sea hag will pose and say that she was robbed of an artifact she needs to keep her garden thriving. A pearl of great size called the Margariaari, in reality the pearl is a single egg laid by Remeteraak herself. The crab god of avarice will do anything to ensure its safe keeping, and Harroette plans to use it to leverage Remeteraak to her will.
Harrowette is also the reason that Ragout and other shell-dwellers have contracted the mushroom curse.
