The Star triff

A particularly arcane triff. The effect of magic seems to follow its own laws here, studied by many adventurous wizards from the Starward crown, but not fully understood.

In this land one can find sapient spells that live in the land; roaming fireballs that live in caves and take the shape of flaming bears, or capes and hats that have taken to invisibility or flight. Things in the star triff have been imbued with magic, and its effect seems to grow instead of diminish.

The Star triff seems to know the hearts of those who enter it, and will be vicious to some while letting other travelers go through it freely, but why some and not others is not yet understood.
