The Aavorak triff

A very primal triff, Aavorak is the home of the Aavora, a clan of eagle-people that patrol the skies and nest in the canyons and shards, their nests are said to be sacred and their locations secret even to their own kind.

The triff itself is scarred by red rock canyons and high cliffs where little but shrubs grow next to dry gnarly trees. Most of the Aavora spend time far above, in the triffs hot air, patrolling their borders or looking for food. A few times merchants from different crowns have attempted to talk the beastfolk into allowing passage through their lands, but negotiations always end as quick as an arrow through the windpipe.

Those who have been past the cliffs and chasms tell stories of an inner savanna where other beastfolk live undisturbed and on their own terms.
