White triff

The center of this triff is mastered by a frozen lake, on top of which lays a mountain of ice, the home of Koelkast, the great white wyrm. The dragon hides more than his treasure, in reality he covets the secret to the longevity of the monks in the old monastery below his home.

Koelkast

Although the white triff was always cold and desolate, it has been much worse since millennia ago, Koelkast the dragon landed there, and froze a lake in the middle of the triff to make it his home.

There are rumors that influence of the wyrm has reached beyond its triff, all the way to Antic Crown. Where winter refused to leave after the death of their king.

Old monastery

The old frozen lake where the shaft surfaces has a stone pillar that ascends out of the works and is now part of the dragon's lair. But it all used to be the road to a monastery of the mantle in the works, there are only three monks left from that order deep down in a frozen darkland. They resent the dragon and wish to recover their sacred lands, but their isolation and unnatural longevity in has driven all but one of the monks secretly mad.
